Someone suggested going back to your original art, but making the bean center jagged. I thought this was a fabulous idea.
Maybe google "evil logos" and see what type of typography is used (that you think is nice). Do some research on this. Another problem is the bean is such a perfect oval, that is it not very evil. It is very calm, precise, and technical. I think maybe that is the way you WANT to go, but the idea isn't coming across.
The logo though is a very nice concept and the idea of it is intriguing and it would be great to get this to really work. Try asking people you are around during the day (that wil really tell you what they think) and get a fresh perspective from them.
